Originally part of an old dairy 5b has been renovated to provide a luxury 1-bedroom garden flat situated in what was described by James Curl in his 1977 book as "the most interesting street in Oxford". It is the perfect place from which to explore the beautiful City of Oxford.
Home to the oldest university in the English- speaking world and known as “the city of dreaming spires" after the stunning architecture of the university buildings. Oxford is also close to the rolling hills of the Cotswold’s, the world heritage site of Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, the visually stunning Cotswold village of Burford and the renowned outlet shopping centre at Bicester village.
North Parade Avenue is a fascinating street a short walk from the centre of Oxford. It has 2 pubs, several restaurants, a deli and convenience store. It is only 1/2 a mile to the cosmopolitan area of Jericho with its numerous restaurants and bars and less than a mile into the centre of Oxford. It's an easy walk or there are plenty of buses.
The flat can sleep 2 guests in a comfortable King size bed. The bed has a good quality Hypnos mattress and base plus a goose down duvet with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton linen. We supply White Company towels and toiletries.
There is a small conservatory off the bedroom which has 2 leather armchairs and is the perfect spot for a relaxing break after pounding the streets of Oxford.
The combined lounge/kitchen is well equipped with a Miele dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob plus an AEG washer /dryer. There is a flat screen TV plus DVD player in the lounge plus a TV in the bedroom. Access to the garden is through the conservatory which is south west facing and a real sun trap.
